About MELAMENZ Entertainment
Founding executives and partners, Harnik Gulati and Fred Briers III, combined their decades of experience in event planning, community organizing, photography, graphic design, communications/PR, and project management towards a joint venture called Melamenz Entertainment LLC. “I love Seattle and have lived here for over twenty years, however, like many people of color here, I complained about the lack of diversity in Seattle queer nightlife and travelled elsewhere to fill the gap” said Harnik. This notion was the primary motivation for Harnik and Fred to launch Melamenz in early 2023 after successfully implementing multiple events focusing on the queer BIPOC and allies community. These events include Bollywood Nights (Desi/South Asian LGBTQ); Gozadera (Latino); and Obsidian (Black) and allies. .
After nine months of successful club promotion at The Comeback Seattle in SoDo, based on community feedback, Melamenz moved their events to Seattle’s gay mecca, capital hill, for a more convenient location at more established historical institutions including Julia’s on Broadway (BIPOC cultural events).
Melamenz Entertainment aims to bring Seattle’s queer BIPOC and allies a safe space to celebrate our cultrue and identity. “We promise you, as long as our community shows up, we will listen, pivot, create more, and do better!, with diverse options everyone wins!”–Harnik & Fred.

For a fee, Melamenz would be happy to support local, national, and international promoters to bring their events to Seattle. Our services include social media marketing/advertising, connecting with club institutions/owners, coordination/planning event logistics, and on-site curation support.
